Step 1: Understand Domain Names

Once you have your domain, the next step is setting up the DNS records via Cloudflare.

  1. Visit Cloudflare and create a free account.

  2. Add your domain name and proceed with the DNS setup.

  3. Choose the free plan, then update your domain's nameservers in the domain management area to point to Cloudflare's nameservers.

Please note that this DNS update can take up to 24 hours to take effect.

Step 3: Set Up Zoho Mail for Free Email Accounts

Zoho Mail allows up to five free email accounts per domain. To set it up:

  1. Go to Zoho Mail's website and choose the option to create a domain-based email.

  2. Enter your domain and click on “Configure Manually”.

  3. Copy the TXT value from Zoho and add it as a new TXT record in your Cloudflare account under DNS settings.

Once the TXT record is verified (this may take about 30 minutes), your domain will be connected to Zoho.

Step 4: Create Your Email Address

  1. Log into your Zoho Mail dashboard and click on "Users".

  2. Click "Add" and fill in the required details such as first name, last name, username (e.g., [email protected]), and set a password.

  3. Once done, click "Add" to create your custom email address.

You can now access your custom email address via Zoho’s website or their mobile app, available for both Android and iOS.
